The most famous in a world Christmas ballet "The Nutcracker" was created in Russia by the great Russian composer Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky and was staged for the first time in the XIX century by the glorified ballet master Marius Petipa.
In the new stage version of the Academy of Classical Russian Ballet St. Petersburg / The Hague / Rotterdam leading by Mr. Vladislav Kuramshin (member of International Dance Council CID UNESCO) and Tatiana Petrova this performance which became ballet classic heritage long time ago sounds brightly, vividly, and fascinating.
Young dancers - students of the Academy of Classical Russian Ballet The Hague / Rotterdam, many of whom are the winners and laureates of different International ballet competitions, dance this performance with such inspiration and technical skills - even the most difficult elements of classical ballet, such as fouettes, they can perform at the level of adult professional ballet dancers.
In the new edition of this ballet, a new character appeared – the Winter Fairy who helped the main character - Masha to remove a spell from the Prince-Nutcracker.
The choreography and staging version - by Tatiana Petrova and Vladislav Kuramshin, Russian ballet masters.
The performance was shown on ballet tours in Spain and Africa, The Netherlands and Latvia. The last update of the ballet was presented to the St.-Petersburg's audience in December, 2011.In 2014-2015 season – premiere of this classical ballet in The Hague, The Netherlands.
