Anna Pavlova Fund (the Netherlands) opens a teacher/ choreographer vacancy for staging a new ballet and dance shows for children, to be shown to the various audiences in the Netherlands and at International ballet contests. The vacancy as well includes managing a children choreographic team.

 

Requirements for the applicant:

• Choreographic education;

• Higher pedagogical education;

• Up to 5 years of experience at a theater as a ballet actor/ actress;

• Pedagogical experience with kids for at least 3 years and good communication skills;

• Mandatory possession of the methods of:

• classical dance,

• character dance,

• pas de deux dance.

• Experience of staging of dance/ballet shows for children, at least one of the shows /ballets must be in the repertory of a theater at present;

• Obligatory teaching achievements such as awards won by the choreographer teacher’s students at international ballet contests and awards at the most important International ballet contests such as the Youth America Grand Prix or its regional contests, Moscow International Contest, Helsinki International Contest highly desired;

• Experience in touring and participation in the international ballet master classes /international cultural cooperation projects;

• Readiness to participate with pupils in grotesque/character shows and to improve the education level at different ballet courses and trainings is essential;

• Post-graduate education certificates is an advantage;

• Fluent in English.
