The Anna Pavlova Foundation (KVK 63637197) proudly established the Academy of Classical Russian Ballet in The Hague and Rotterdam, The Netherlands, in 2015. Since its establishment, the academy has developed into a lively cultural center, nurturing over 70 talented children from various nationalities, including Dutch, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Polish, Bulgarian, Romanian, and American students.

Our school sets itself apart with its unique focus on staging ballet performances designed specifically for children. We specialize in creating enchanting productions that captivate young audiences and introduce them to the world of ballet in an engaging and accessible way.

The performances are not just limited to local stages; they have been showcased in the Netherlands and beyond, earning praises for their creativity and educational value. By tailoring our ballet performances to resonate with children, we promote an early appreciation for the art, inspiring a lifelong passion for dance and performance. Our commitment to this mission differentiates us from other ballet schools, making us a leader in raising the next generation of ballet enthusiasts.

Over the years, the academy has staged numerous ballet productions that have captivated audiences across the Netherlands. These performances include beloved classical masterpieces such as “The Nutcracker," "The Snow Queen," "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," and "Swan Lake." In addition to these full-length ballet performances, the academy has also presented a grand concert program featuring fragments from classical renowned ballets and pieces from the school's repertoire.

The dedication and discipline of the academy's students is evident in their achievements both on and off stage. They have participated in various ballet competitions and workshops that allowed them to further master their skills and deepen their passion for this exquisite art form. The Anna Pavlova Foundation continues to inspire a love for ballet through its commitment to excellence in dance education and performance.

The academy not only holds public performances but also regularly organizes charity concerts in nursing homes. These events bring joy and cultural enrichment to residents who may not have easy access to live performances.

The ANNA PAVLOVA Foundation is committed to promoting and preserving classical ballet as an art form for a broad audience. Through various cultural and educational projects, the Foundation strives to promote ballet and ensure its ongoing relevance in modern society.

One of the Foundation's most important initiatives is the creation of the Anna Pavlova Virtual Museum in The Hague. This unique project provides an opportunity for everyone to send interesting and new materials related to the life and work of the great ballerina. The virtual museum serves not only as a tribute to the legendary artist, but also as a cultural center where visitors can learn more about the history and evolution of ballet.

The development of the Academy of Classical Russian Ballet is another significant endeavor. This institution focuses on teaching ballet to children using time-honored methods that emphasize discipline, technique, and artistic expression. By nurturing young talent from an early age, the Academy ensures that the rich traditions of classical ballet are passed down to future generations.

The Foundation also organizes a variety of events such as festivals, competitions, concerts, and other cultural activities related to ballet. These events provide platforms for both established and emerging artists to present their talents, promoting a vibrant community around this beautiful art form.

In addition to promoting ballet, the ANNA PAVLOVA Foundation is committed to supporting young gifted dancers. It awards scholarships to promising students, allowing them to receive intensive training and take part in professional performances. This support helps individual dancers achieve their dreams and also enriches the ballet community by introducing new talent.

Furthermore, the Foundation strives to develop and strengthen international connections among ballet lovers and dancers from various countries. By organizing international contests and collaborations, it aims to discover new talents and facilitate cross-cultural interactions. These initiatives contribute to the establishment of a worldwide community of individuals who are passionate about ballet, promoting mutual understanding and respect across different countries.

In summary, the activities of the ANNA PAVLOVA Foundation are diverse but united by a common goal: to celebrate, sustain, and spread the art of ballet. Through museums, academies, events, scholarships, and international collaborations, the Foundation ensures that ballet continues to inspire and enchant audiences around the world.
